Leah glanced at it casually and froze in place.

Leah’s hand trembled, and the figurine fell to the ground.
Her heart raced as she frantically searched the room, her mind a whirl of panic.

This whole situation had escalated so quickly, and with the curse she had just placed on Milo.
Feeling guilty. Leah never considered reaching out to Bennett and asking him about this.
Deep down, she had always looked down on him. If he couldn’t even handle something as simple as this, what was the point of asking him for help?
