On Monday, after sending Isabella to school, Maggie went to the office. Due to the urgency of a project, she was extremely busy that week, often working late into the night.
As a result, although Isabella was staying with the Miller family, she only had time to talk to her in the mornings.
On Thursday afternoon, Isabella called to say that Franklin had returned. Later that afternoon, after school, Isabella went back to the Wilson family home.
On Saturday, Maggie met with Harry and Levi at the amusement park.

“Has it?” Maggie responded, not having realized the time.
Harry looked at her, as if he wanted to say something, but paused before speaking. It wasn’t until lunchtime that he hesitated and finally said, “You must be aware that there are several shareholders in
Wilson Tech.”
Maggie nodded, “Mm.”
Harry continued, “Franklin plans to buy out the shares from me, Levi, and the others, and then give-”
He didn’t finish, but Maggie knew he was referring to Julia.
When she worked at Wilson Tech, she had seen just how indulgent Franklin was with Julia.
She had noticed every little detail. Back then, she had jokingly said that even if Franklin decided to change the company’s name to Brown, she wouldn’t be surprised.
But she hadn’t expected him to actually do it…
Wilson Tech, though a newer company, was worth billions, wasn’t it? For him to just give away the shares so easily—it was quite generous.
At that moment, Harry said, “Levi and I have agreed to it.”
Maggie nodded. “Mm.”

The three of them–Harry, Levi, and Franklin–had grown up together, so she understood why they would agree to it based on their close friendship.
Harry had brought this up because he wanted to tell her that Wilson Tech was undergoing a change, but that Cole and Wilson Tech still had business dealings. He knew just how much she loved Franklin.
Back when he hadn’t known about her relationship with Johnny, he had truly believed that she had let go of Franklin.
But now, he wasn’t so sure whether she had really let go of him or not.
Over the years, the Brown family’s tech company had been struggling, losing money because of a lack of core technologies and high–end talent.
To help the Brown family address this issue, Franklin had spent a lot of time during his business trip abroad personally scouting and bringing back several technical experts for the company.
With Franklin’s help, the Brown family’s tech company was likely to see improvements in the near
future.
However, this had nothing to do with Maggie. If she hadn’t let go of Franklin in her heart, knowing this would only make her feel uncomfortable.
So, Harry didn’t mention it to Maggie.
Harry had other business to attend to, so after lunch, they each went their separate ways.
The transfer of Wilson Tech’s shares to Julia was confirmed on Monday.
Maggie and Johnny learned about it because Kim, after hearing the news, immediately shared it in their group chat.
Whether it was the multi–million–dollar villa Franklin gifted to Sally or the shares he transferred to Julia on Valentine’s Day, Maggie had never mentioned these to Johnny.
Though Johnny knew that Franklin was good to Julia, he didn’t fully understand just how generous and indulgent Franklin was with her.
So when he received the news, he was stunned for a moment.
After he recovered, he ground his teeth and muttered. “Now that’s really generous.”
Maggie, who had already heard the news in advance, remained calm, her heart showing no ripple. “Let’s

The next evening, they were scheduled to attend a banquet. By the time Maggie and Johnny arrived, the banquet hall was already filled with people. Shortly after they arrived, Harry and Levi also showed up.
As Harry approached to greet them, Franklin and Julia, escorted by the banquet’s host, entered the hall.
As always, Julia’s attire and jewelry were of high value, much like every other time they had attended such events together. Wilson Tech had a good reputation within the industry.
The news about Franklin handing over the entire company to Julia quickly spread within the circle.
When they made their entrance at the banquet, they immediately attracted the attention of nearly everyone in the room.
“It’s Franklin and his girlfriend. Have you all heard about Wilson Tech? Franklin is so handsome and capable, but in the end, he’s still caught in the trap of a beautiful woman.
A company with such bright prospects, and he just gives it away. What a generous move!”
“Yeah, if I were Julia, with a boyfriend this good to me, I’d be so happy.”
At this point, someone else remarked, “Wasn’t Franklin married before? How come we never saw him be this generous to his ex–wife?”
“I heard he didn’t love his ex–wife. They got married out of necessity, so…”
“True, otherwise, he wouldn’t have kept quiet about his marriage. If it weren’t for the last time when Wilson’s grandmother’s birthday came up, no one would even know he was married.”
