The one who just sent the chocolate to Claire was Tristan’s people. The first moment Claire saw the chocolate, she knew.
That was because Tristan had given her one when she was young in Gavoria.
She thought about it for a moment, her memory a little blurry, but she could roughly recall the simple conversation between Tristan and her.
Tristan said, “Claire, this chocolate is for you.”

Claire replied, “Chocolate? Why are you giving me chocolate? It looks so expensive. I don’t want it. It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s that we don’t know each other well so I can’t take it.”
“We’ll know each other if you take it. Besides, do you know the meaning of this chocolate?”
“None of my business.”
Tristan smiled. “Claire, your personality really is as pleasing as your looks. I like it. Don’t go, and listen to me.
“The creator of this chocolate is Bob Lane. He created this chocolate to confess to the girl he liked. Later, the girl ate one and successfully got together with him.
“After this chocolate launched, it was only sold to men proposing marriage or love. It’s a global limited edition. Try a bite.” “Oh, okay, thank you for letting me know, goodbye.”
“Claire, why are you running so fast?”

As she thought about it, the memory seemed to become clearer and clearer. Claire shook her head quickly. “Why am I thinking about this?
“Hank, please call Crow and Leo. Let’s go shopping. We need to visit Carson tomorrow. It’s not good to go empty–handed. Let’s see what to buy for him later.”
“Okay” Hank replied and walked out the door to the villa next door.
Here, in Tristan’s office.
He looked at the person standing in front of him and slowly spoke in a deep voice, “You sent the things out, right? Did she take them? What about the letter inside? Did she read it?”
The person standing in front of him lowered his head and said truthfully, “She was a little resistant. I gave it to her son and left. But within five minutes, I saw Claire personally take it out the door and throw it in the trash.”
Hearing these words, the person who was supposed to be angry didn’t get angry but paused for a few seconds before grinning
Then, Tristan said. “After all these years, her personality is still so likable.”
Meanwhile, Claire listened to Cherise’s words and brought many people with her when she went out: Hank, Crow, and Leo, who had just returned from handling matters at the Dark Web Division.
‘Claire, this is too much. You even bought clothes for us. How can we accept this? You’ve spent too much,” said Leo, holding

the clothes Claire bought for the three of them, his face full of joy.

Crow was also delighted. “Yeah, Claire, no one, regardless of gender or seniority, has ever bought me clothes before. I’m so touched. I can’t wait to go home and try them on.”
Hank, standing aside, looked at them as if they were naive. “You wouldn’t say that if you saw the clothes. I’m too embarrassed to wear them outside.”
“Kid, what are you talking about? What do you know?” Claire retorted, reaching out to hit him playfully.
Then she looked at Leo and Crow with a smile. “Take a look. I bought them according to your sizes. They’re matching outfits.
“There are four of us, so it was cheaper to buy them together. Look, there’s a fitting room over there. Let’s change into them and let everyone know we’re a team.”
Crow and Leo exchanged glances, a sense of foreboding washing over them.
A few minutes later, four people wearing the same pink Hello Kitty T–shirt were walking in the mall, attracting strange looks from others.
Except for the woman in the lead who seemed to be enjoying herself, the other three were cowering, afraid to look up.
It wasn’t until they reached the parking lot that the other three, except for Claire who was in front, breathed a sigh of relief and whispered.
“Oh my god, my heart.”
“Finally, there’s no one here, right?”
“Yes, yes, this is the first time I’ve worn pink clothes, and Hello Kitty, it’s too hard.”
“What’s wrong with you three?” Claire, who was walking in front, looked back at them.
Crow quickly waved his hand. “Nothing. Claire, we were just discussing how nice this dress is.”
Leo, who was standing next to him, echoed, “Yes, Claire, it looks good, and I want to buy two more for Steven and Leo.”
Upon hearing this, Claire turned around and said, “Let’s go then. I just saw that there are still quite a few left. I’ll pay for them and give them as gifts. I’ll buy two for Cherise and Morris too. A family should always be well–dressed.”
“Claire, you are too kind. Really, there is no need.” Leo said, both amused and regretting his earlier words.
“Quiet! Something’s up.” Crow and Hank whispered simultaneously, their voices hushed.
Claire and Leo, who were still declining Claire’s offer, exchanged a look and immediately fell silent. “Let’s go, Leo said.
But it was too late. The other party had come prepared and in large numbers.
Dozens of burly men in black emerged in an orderly fashion from the dozen or so cars parked around theirs.
Hank immediately recognized one of them as the man who had delivered chocolates to his home that morning.
“It’s Tristan’s men” As if to confirm his words, Tristan himself, a figure who, like Arthur, was usually seen only on television, stepped out of one of the vans.
Upon seeing who had arrived, Leo and Crow’s first instinct was to inform Morris and Cherise.

However, Tristan stopped them. “I won’t take up too much of your time, young men, and there’s no need to inform your boss. I’m just here to catch up with my old friend. We’ll chat for a bit, and then I’ll be on my way.”
He spoke modestly, giving the impression of an easygoing person.
Hank had his arm around Claire’s, but she showed no signs of discomfort; she was perfectly calm.

From Tristan’s two previous visits, she knew this was inevitable. She might as well get it over with and not give him any false hope.
After a few seconds of silence, she addressed Hank and the others, “Please wait for me for a moment. Mr. Walton, please tell me what you have to say quickly. Cherise and Morris are waiting for me at home.”
With that, she glanced at Tristan and then at a relatively empty corner.
When they reached the corner, Claire spoke first, “If I’m not mistaken, you’re looking for me because of the recent rumors about the Walton family. Just spit it out. You have three minutes.”
Tristan stared at Claire in front of him–the woman who still looked so beautiful after all these years, the woman who had given birth to Arthur’s son which made him jealous.
“2.5 minutes,” Claire reminded him.
Tristan let out a short laugh. “Well then.” He began, putting aside everything else for now. “First of all, I apologize. I blame my poor parenting for my daughter slandering you like that.
“Indeed, the main reason I’m looking for you today is because of this. If possible, please tell Arthur to remove the negative publicity about the Walton family.”
“Okay, no need to say more. Three minutes are up, goodbye.” Claire answered without thinking.
Tristan didn’t know how to react for a while. Before he could say thank you, Claire had already turned and walked towards Hank and Leo. He really didn’t expect Claire to be so easy to talk to.
However, when Claire turned around and was some distance away from him, she muttered, “I promised, but it’s one thing to promise and another to actually do it. Who doesn’t know how to lie? I’ll run away first.”
