“Look at you–tall and well–built, and those glasses you’re wearing. You look like a man of great learning, well–read and gentle.” Claire looked towards the door, speaking with a beaming smile.
Hank coughed vigorously on the side, blinking his eyes. This time, Cherise couldn’t hold back and burst into laughter.
Morris, who had intended to take another step forward, suddenly stopped, standing still with a twitch at the corner of his mouth.
Leo, holding the doorknob, was momentarily stunned, but he reacted quickly, “Oh, Ms. Garcia, I’m not Morris. I’m just a small assistant to Mr. Chivers.
“My name is Leo Sanchez, and you can call me Leo. Mr. Chivers is right behind me! But thank you for the compliment. You really have a good eye. Leo was delighted by the praise and spoke in a pleasing manner.
Upon hearing Leo’s words, Claire’s face instantly turned a bit awkward, but being a woman of her age, she had the ability to turn the situation around skillfully.
She said, “Oh, so you’re Leo. That’s a nice name. I thought so, you didn’t look quite like the photo either.

Just as she finished speaking, Morris walked in and approached the bedside, greeting Claire politely, “Ms. Garcia, hello. I’m Morris, Cherise’s husband. We just had our wedding ceremony the other day.
“I apologize for not coming to see you sooner. I’ve been quite busy with work these past few days. Please forgive me.”

“I’m sorry, please forgive me again. I’m a bit of a face fanatic. I can’t help but react to such beauty. It’s so good, so good. He matches Cherise perfectly.”
Morris nodded, not expecting Cherise’s mother to be such an outgoing and lively person. He spoke politely, “It’s fine. We’re all family here. We’re very casual. Do whatever makes you happy.”
After speaking, Morris felt a sense of relief internally. He had managed to leave a good impression on Cherise’s mother.
At the same time, he was grateful that his good looks had given him an advantage.

In Tristan’s office, his assistant stood before him, “Sir, our inside source at Betrico Hospital has found out something.
“There was indeed a surgery at the hospital a few days ago. The attending physician was Morris’s wife, Cherise, and all the doctors and nurses assisting were of the highest caliber in the hospital.
“On the day of the surgery, Morris and Arthur’s son were both present.”
“Oh?” Tristan responded with a puzzled “Oh?” before continuing, “Did you find out who the patient was?”
The assistant shook his head. “The patient was transferred to a regular ward after the surgery. The guards outside the ward were all S–class, so we couldn’t get in.
“We only heard vaguely that the patient was a woman, around 45 years old. Also, our people noticed that there seemed to be some of Arthur’s men nearby.”
Upon hearing this, Tristan’s alertness increased, and a flicker of something unusual appeared in his eyes. “Around 45 years old? A woman. And Arthur’s son was there too? It seems quite clear to me, doesn’t it?”
The assistant nodded in agreement with Tristan’s statement, “By the way, Mr. Walton, I spoke to Stella. I heard from the Walton family that Stella had a strong emotional reaction after receiving my call. She broke quite a few things.”
