Lukas froze for a moment, his expression changing slightly as he instantly thought of the scene where Anthony and Skylar were chatting and laughing together. He remained silent, his whole being feeling uncomfortable.
Thinking of the two of them together made him feel uneasy.
Cole thought that Lukas didn’t know who Anthony was, so he explained, “I heard he is the director of the Rivers Health Medical Center. He also provided evidence for Bella’s fake suicide. Have you heard of him, Mr. Strakovski?”
Lukas’s face turned ashen, and his tone was very bad, “I know now. Don’t tell Skylar that I offered to provide clients for her.”
After saying this, Lukas hung up the phone directly.

I felt a bit overwhelmed by the scene. I shook my head and hurried to Ava’s hospital room. I couldn’t stand it anymore.
Lukas probably didn’t know that while he was trying to act, I was thinking like this. He’d probably be quite frustrated if he knew.
When I entered Ava’s hospital room, Ava stretched her neck to look outside.
But when she saw no one else coming in after me, her face fell.
I looked at her impatiently, “What are you looking at? I came to see you. Aren’t you satisfied?”
Ava looked dejected, “Did Cole not come?”
I frowned at her and sighed helplessly, “He just came back from a business trip and has a lot of work to catch up on, so he’s working
overtime.”
