With these thoughts, Leah calmed herself, put on a smile again, and entered the venue.
The venue was already quite full. In the front rows were media reporters from the fashion industry and professional judges, while the back was filled with designers awaiting the second round of evaluations.
The Nelsons took seats near the front, and soon, someone called out to them.
“Well, Mr. Nelson, here to support your child for the re–evaluation too?”

It was an old business partner, though now that the Nelson Group had they no longer had much interest in those who hadn’t kept up.
Willard maintained a polite demeanor. “Mr. Willow, it’s been a while.”
Bob Willow eagerly leaned in. “Yes, it’s been a while indeed, Mr. Nelson. I’ve tried to invite you to dinner a few times, but you’re always so busy, that it’s nearly impossible to get time with you.”
Willard simply smiled without responding.
Bob wasn’t fazed by the silence and smoothly shifted his attention to Leah. “This must be Ms. Nelson? You’ve grown into such a stunning young woman.”
“Hello, Mr. Willow.”
“So, Ms. Nelson, how long have you been studying design?”
Leah smiled gracefully. “Fashion design is just a hobby of mine. I haven’t had any formal training.”
Her words immediately caught the attention of those around her, who turned in surprise.
“She’s never studied fashion design? That’s unbelievable!”
“This is unbelievable! I’ve been studying for nearly ten years and still couldn’t pass the second round. I even begged for a spectator spot just to get in here, and now you’re telling me someone hasn’t even studied it?”
“That’s the difference between a genius and the rest of us.”
Hearing the admiration and praise from those around her, Leah accepted it all with grace and composure, while Willard and the others basked in the pride of the moment.
She glanced over and spotted Charmaine sitting alone in the corner, her smile growing even brighter with

Today’s designer evaluation live stream was supposed to be a niche competition with a small audience.
But Rex had invested heavily in it.
Since the live stream started, promotional ads appeared not only on Eragos but also on all domestic advertising screens, public transportation displays, and major streaming and video platforms.
Many viewers, unsure of what to expect, tuned in, and the viewership numbers soared.
Upon entering, they immediately caught sight of this scene.
The
young amateur designer had surprisingly outperformed numerous professional designers to advance to the next round. Not only were the people in the audience amazed, but viewers online were also flooding the screen with comments.
“Wow! If she really hasn’t studied design professionally and can showcase such incredible talent, imagine what she could achieve in the future. She might shake up the entire design industry!”
“Isn’t this the daughter of the Nelsons who made headlines for her birthday the other day? Looks like rich kids not only know how to be born into wealth but also come with a whole set of special skills!”
“Must be nice to be wealthy–having a birthday party that makes waves throughout the city, with luxury cars lining the hotel entrance. All the city’s elite must have been there!”
“It’s just marketing. If you search for her online, she’s still just a college student and not even a major in design. If she were really that talented, wouldn’t she have been in the spotlight long ago? Why wait until now?”
“I suspect it’s all fake too. Who in the business world doesn’t know that the Ydris Group suddenly pulled out of their partnership with the Nelson Group? It’s clear that the Nelsons are in a desperate situation, trying to find a way to negotiate with the Ydris Group. They probably paid for someone else’s spot in the second round!”
“This is hilarious. She’s the daughter of a prestigious family. While she claims she hasn’t studied, you can bet she has plenty of renowned mentors guiding her behind the scenes!”
“That can’t be right! With millions of people watching the live stream, if it’s all fake, she’ll be exposed during the second round–it would be so embarrassing…
“Her brothers are all leaders in their respective fields. How could she possibly be any less capable? It’s all in the genes. Stop being so bitter.”
The commotion even caught Emyr’s attention.
“Mr. Emyr, Ms. Nelson is over in the corner.”
In the top–floor office of the Cross Group Building, Emyr sipped his coffee while Tad handed him a tablet.
With an aloof glance, Emyr looked at it, appearing indifferent.
