Miles added with a smile, “Indeed. Earlier, because of Granny Wilson’s interference, things weren’t moving forward with Julie and Frank. Now, suddenly, there’s a breakthrough, right? So don’t be discouraged. We still have chances.”
The “breakthrough” Miles referred to was, of course, the divorce between Franklin and Maggie.
