Leo sighed, his jaw tightening in frustration.
I could see the conflict in his eyes–he wanted to stay with me, to talk, but duty was calling.
“You should go,” I said softly, trying to keep my voice steady. “This is important.”
Reluctantly, Leo turned to leave.
As he reached the door, he threw a quick glance over his shoulder, his expression softening for just a moment.
“We’ll talk later,” he said, before facing Panther with renewed resolve. “And make sure Aria doesn’t come back here again, for any reason.” Panther followed closely behind, nodding but then hesitating, as if there was something more he needed to say, He cleared his throat, *Alpha, if I may… Luna’s behavior–it’s… well, it’s different. I wouldn’t be too optimistic. Something’s not right.”
