As expected, Trent stood at the door and said to Cherise, who was still on the podium, “Ms. Leach, sorry for interrupting your class. We’ve brought the new student for you. Is it okay for Him to come in and introduce himself before class continues?”

As soon as Cherise said this, Trent and James quickly stepped asle to make way for the person behind them.
All the students craned their necks to get a better look at the new classmate, who was rumored to be a teenage prodigy personally introduced by the three big men.
They looked on as a well–grown boy, sporting a stylish haircut and large black–rimmed glasses, walked in slowly after the three big men made way for him.
Even though he was about 5 years younger than most of them, he gave an impression of being aloof, with a strong vibe of a special manga character.
With such strong abilities and numerous titles, and being personally introduced by the three big men, students in the classroom thought maybe he’s probably not an easy person to get along with.
However, the first thing he said immediately changed everyone’s perception of him.
He said, “Hello, Ms. Leach, and all you guys in the Traditional Medicine Department at Betrico University! I’m Hank Reese, and I’m 14 this year. I’m excited to be part of the Traditional Medicine Department at Betrico University.
“In the days to come, I’ll closely follow Ms. Leach and learn diligently from all you guys. I aim to promote the field of traditional Clusian medicine through my own efforts as soon as possible.

His passionate and formal tone was such a stark contrast to his appearance that the people sitting didn’t know how to react for a moment.
It wasn’t until Cherise said “welcome” that everyone snapped out of it and started clapping.
Once the applause died down, Cherise casually gestured towards the empty seat next to Jean.
Hank bowed to Cherise, then quickly ran over and sat down.
Seeing how Hank wasn’t shy and got along well with everyone, the three big men quickly shut the door and left.
Throughout the class, people occasionally glanced his way, but Hank was absorbed in Cherise’s lesson, paying no attention to the others.
Overall, to all the students, Hank was quite an unusual person.
His introduction was like a performance at a children’s festival, yet during class, he was as serious as a high school student. To top it off, he had the striking good looks of a comic book character.
All these traits combined were both contradictory and harmonious.
Another thing that amazed them was that instead of rushing to the cafeteria after class, he took his notebook and went straight to Cherise to ask questions.
He didn’t seem like a college student at all; he seemed more like someone preparing for college entrance exams.

Madeline grabbed Jeanrand got ready to head to the cafeteria. “Jan, don’t you think the new classmate is quite special? But he’s so young, yet he looks quite good.
Jean nodded, then shook his head, glancing at Hank, who was asking Cherise questions by the podium. As she left the classroom with Madeline, she mumbled, “Why do I feel like I’ve seen this guy somewhere before? He looks so familiar.
“Especially when he just took off his glasses to wipe his eyes.”

“You know how to start a fire by rubbing sticks together, right? You know basic survival skills, don’t you?”
Hank kept nodding. Cherise uncrossed her arms and tapped the podium a few times. “Someone who’s mastered traditional Chinese medicine wouldn’t ask me such basic questions.
“Come on, out with it. Do you have something to ask, or is there something you want to tell me?”
Hank scratched his head, a bit embarrassed. “Ms. Leach, you figured me out.”
He then looked at Cherise seriously. “My friends and the director of the orphanage really look up to you and want me to invite you over for a visit.”
Cherise tilted her head. “That’s all?”
Hank chuckled twice. “Actually, there’s more. Some time ago, I took on a global challenge online, a competition between traditional medicine and modern medicine, organized by the Global Medical Association.
“Winning wouldn’t just bring honor to Clusia, but also provide a nice prize to help renovate the orphanage. I need that money.
“So, when Mr. Edmund Sullivan, president of the Traditional Medicine Association suggested I learn from you, I agreed. I hope you won’t find me bothersome and will let me learn from you systematically.”
After hearing this, Cherise nodded as if she suddenly understood. “I see!”
The next moment, the phone rang. It was Morris. Cherise and Hank both glanced at the phone screen.
“I’ll evaluate your abilities tomorrow. I have something to do today, so that’s it for now.” Cherise said as she packed up handbag and walked out of the classroom.
