Chapter 15

This child was unexpected and not the right time. If there hadn’t been the Anna Green issue, I would’ve been happy to have a child with Daniel Brown 

“I hope you’re reborn into a family full of love.” 

I lowered my head, gently touching my belly, saying goodbye to it. 

After the procedure, I sent the medical documents to Daniel Brown. I didn’t care about his reaction 

old Daniel Brown simply because this child had his share in it, just a formal notification. 

I returned to the hotel and endured the discomfort from the procedure alone. 

I remembered before the wedding, when I went to meet Daniel Brown’s parents, I was as nervous as when my father took me to my first cocktail party. Daniel Brown teased me for overreacting. 

How could he know how badly I wanted to create a family with him, so I took it so seriously. 

Marriage is the romantic end, a complicated and tiring journey that you willingly take; divorce, however, is painful relief, exhausting and numbing. 

I stayed alone in the hotel for two days, ignoring all calls except from the company. 

I needed time to process the failure of this marriage.
