Chapter 8
On the other side, I’mily Taylor and Isaac Carter were on Lover’s Kland, which is often referred to as the “Eastern Hawaii”
They hadn’t left the room for three days and nights.
Tmily, dressed in a wedding gown, teased Isaac again and again, tempting him to drown in love and passion.
Emily came from an ordinary family, but her best friend was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
As long as Emily stood next to her, people seemed to overlook Lily entirely.
giddle school, there was a boy who gave her breakfast for three months, always reminding her to give the other portion to Summer Harris,
Why was it that people loved Summer without her lifting a finger?
Later, Summer became mate. The voice she once prided herself on could no longer produce those beautiful sounds.
And Emily, although she still couldn’t shake her bitterness, watched as someone still unconditionally loved Summer.
Now, she looked at Isaac, who was enchanted by her, speaking words of praise.
She had defiled the most precious thing in Summer’s life–her marriage–and she felt immensely satisfied
But when the passion faded, Isaac looked at his phone. He hadn’t received a message from Summer in three days, and anxiety started creeping in
He nervously called Summer, but no one
e answered.
Emily clung to him, her voice full of affection: “I still can’t bear to see you marry her.”
“Why don’t you break up with her and marry me instead?”
I pushed her off, walling out of the bedroom: “Marry you? You think we could be married openly while you’re the mistress?”
Emily was furious, yelling at him: “Isaac Carter! Who are you calling a mistress?”
Isaac, feeling a headache, pulled her close and kissed her: “Just kidding, it’s not like I’ll abandon you after the wedding.”
Emily relaxed: “Then tell me, who satisfies you more me or her?”

Isaac gave her a light slap on the face: “I haven’t had the chance to try the one at home yet, but I think no one can be as wild as you.”
They resumed their entanglement.
Just as they were reaching the peak of their passion, Isaac received a message from Summer. “I’m busy.”
The anxiety in his chest subsided, and he quickly silenced Emily, sending a voice message to Summer: “Baby, I miss you so much.”
“Stay home and be good.”
What he didn’t know was that the message was received not by Summer, but by her mother.
Summer’s mother had confiscated her daughter’s phone, hoping that Isaac would stop bothering her.
Her daughter’s heart was too soft, always giving them a chance.
If haar had returned home early, he might have noticed the wedding was being sabotaged.
But how could Summer’s mother bear to let her daughter swallow the bitterness so carelessly?
haac Carter had never even asked for permission to marry her daughter, yet he dared to think of bringing her into his home.
She had already contacted her friends in Oldford, making sure they delayed their return before the wedding.
She was determined to expose these two millterres, inaking thros lese fare fin front of all their relatives and friends.
Isane and Tavaly continued their tyst on Lover’s Island for several more days, but Isane began to feel increasingly urwasy.
He served that something was wrong. Sumer loud become very distant with him.
He grew desperate to end the trip early and go home to see Summer–he couldn’t let the wedding be ruined.
De he married het, her parents would have no say, no matter how much they objected.
Although Emily could satisfy him physically, she would never be the wife he needed.
Isaac felt an urge to return, which angered Emily. He patiently tried to calm her down: “That’s enough
og’s good to you, isn’t she? Vou’ve also gained a lot from her.”
“My compane is stable, and I don’t have money to spend on you.”
“If you upset her, neither of us well have it easy.”
Emily, believing his lies, started parking to return.
When they got back to the hotel, they found that their ID cards, wallet, and huggage were suddenly missing
They argued fiercely with the hotel manager, Isase shouting: “I’ll expose your hotel! You can’t even manage your guests‘ belongings properly
The
manager, in a panic, apologized profusely and promised to recover all the missing items, causing them to lose another two days.
Eventually, the items were returned, and Issat, eager to get home, didn’t press charges.
But on the way to the airport, they were involved in a minor car accident, delaying them by another day.
With only
two days left until the wedding, Isaac felt like the universe was trying to tell him something. He had to get home as quickly as possible.
He frantically called Summer, but she wouldn’t pick up.
His nerves were on edge. She finally replied with a single message: “Impreparing for the wedding, stop bothering me.”
Isaac laughed bitterly, as if getting married wasn’t enough for her.
Emily also sent Summer numerous messages, but got no reply.
Her woman’s intuition told her that Summer had probably discovered something
But seeing Isaac losing his mind, she kept her suspicions to herself.
The day before the wedding, Isaac was seething with anger. He couldn’t understand why the universe was preventing him from returning home.
Flight delays, bad weather–all these problems seemed to hit him all at once,
He rented a car a
and decided to drive hack to Newford.
This time, they didn’t run into any further trouble.
By the time they reached Newford, the wedding day was already upon them.
Meanwhile, Summer’s mother had made sure to delay the wedding preparations until the very last moment.
While planning her daughter’s wedding, she was also scheming to expose Isaac and Emily
On the wedding day. Summer’s mother sent Isaac a video of her beautiful daughter, who was in her wedding dress.
Isaac watched the video with a tender gaze, feeling the tension in his body finally ease.
He thought to himself. My wife is truly beautiful.

“I promise I’ll be there in time for the wedding.”
Emily, trying to peek, was blocked by Isaac, who didn’t want her to see Summer’s dress and cause a scene.
Isaac felt a twinge of guilt for Summer.
