“I didn’t react because I know we’re going to get the divorce. I have no reason being jealous.” 

Leo’s eyes narrowed, and he leaned forward as if he understood my thought process, his hand tightening around mine. 

“Liz,” he said, his voice firm, “you’re the only one who’s Luna for me. There won’t be anyone else. This isn’t just a pretense.” 

My heart skipped a beat at the intensity in his voice, but I quickly masked my emotions with a soft smile.
