“GOOD MORNING, you slept like a baby.” A smile spread across Serena’s face as soon as Alpha Perez appeared before her. She then closed her one eye and feeling a wave of emotion wash over her as he leaned in to kiss her forehead, playfully fixing her messy bed hair. In just a few days, she would no longer have the comfort of waking up with Perez by her side, and the thought made her emotional.
“Good morning,” she greeted back, struggling to contain the overwhelming emotions bubbling up inside her. She sat up gradually and pulled the blanket up to cover her naked body. “What are you reading?“.
“I received reports from all the Alphas under my command; it seemed safe to assume that we had successfully eliminated all of the infected rogues. Their daily patrols showed no signs of any rogue activity within their territories,” he explained as he leaned his back against the headboard while half–naked. “So, now we can go on a date without any restrictions. Do you like to do that?”
“Today?” Serena’s eyes lit up with excitement. After all, she knew she wouldn’t be able to celebrate his birthday next month. So, she wanted to make the most of their time together now and decided to take this chance to get him a gift and give it to him early.
“Yeah,” Alpha Perez smiled, and she nodded, hugging him before placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
“Okay, I’ll just wash up.” She pulled the blanket off her, preparing to get up but he suddenly hugged her from behind, causing her to yelp in shock.
“W–what?” She turned her head to look at him with confusion and surprise written all over her face.
“Let’s do it one more round,” he proposed, not hiding the naughty smile that formed on his face. Serena groaned but gave in to his demand. She leaned in and kissed him deeply, slowly shifting her position to straddle his lap. His hands immediately found their way to her breasts, kneading and fondling them while his mouth nibbled on the other nipple.
Her body responded eagerly to his touch, and she began grinding against him, feeling the familiar tingle of pleasure building inside her. Alpha Perez groaned as well, clearly enjoying their intimate moment early in the morning as much as she did.
Eventually, they both reached their climax together, surrendering to the waves of pleasure that washed over them. They collapsed onto the bed in a tangled mess of limbs, both breathing heavily as they tried to catch their breath.
“That was amazing,” Alpha Perez murmured against her skin as he nuzzled into her neck. They stayed like that for a few minutes before getting up and finally washing up. As they got dressed and ready for their date, Serena couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
It was clear that being with him was the happiest moment of her life, his presence was what saved her from despair, what helped her survive those lonely nights where she didn’t know whether she would still be happy and loved. She truly meant it when she said that marrying him was the best choice she ever made, but now she couldn’t help but question her own morality for not staying faithful to their wedding vows.
“What’s on your mind?” Serena’s thoughts were interrupted by Perez’s voice, bringing her back to the present. She glanced over at him and noticed that his gaze was fixed on the road ahead. “You seemed to be deep in thought again.”
“Well, I was thinking what gift I should get you,” she responded.
“All I wanted was for you to be my side until the end of my days that was the best gift I wanted to receive from you.” Serena couldn’t help but bite at her inner cheek as those words reached her ears. No matter how much she wished it, that was a gift she could never give him, especially not when her decision to run away was already set in stone.
“That… was given already, but I wanted to give you something that you can keep, something that you would touch every time we were apart so you wouldn’t miss me too much.” She put on a fake smile, secretly glad that he was too focused on driving to notice.

“Hmm, then anything was fine as long as it came from you,” he answered, looking at her and holding her hand before. placing a kiss on it.
A few minutes later, the car pulled up in front of a fancy restaurant, and Alpha Perez got out to open Serena’s door. She smiled weakly at him as he offered his hand to help her out of the car.
As they walked into the restaurant, Serena couldn’t help but feel like a fraud. Here they were, having a date in a while and yet she had already made plans to leave him. She wondered how long she could keep up this façade before her guilt consumed her completely.
Alpha Perez seemed oblivious to her internal struggle as he led her to their table. Their brunch was filled with love and laughter, with him constantly stealing kisses and whispering sweet words into Serena’s ear.
But despite all that, she couldn’t fully enjoy their date. Her mind kept wandering back to her secret plan, and every time Alpha Perez looked at her lovingly or touched her tenderly, it only intensified her feelings of guilt.
She was excited earlier before they left the house because this would be their last date, but hearing what gift he wanted to receive from her changed everything.
“I’m full,” Serena sighed, touching her belly. She was glad that she didn’t show any sign of morning sickness. Usually, she would feel dizzy and nauseous after a big meal, but today she felt fine.

smiled at her and leaned in for a kiss. “I’m glad you enjoyed your meal.”
Serena mustered up a smile, though her conscience constantly reminded her of what she was doing. She felt guilty for not fully enjoying the moment like he was. And so, she bit her lip and inhaled deeply, determined to bury those thoughts deep inside. She needed to focus on the positive in order to make their final date together more enjoyable.
As they finished up their meal, Alpha Perez suggested taking a stroll by the nearby park before visiting the stores around. Serena agreed, hoping that the fresh air would clear her mind. They then walked hand in hand, but he suddenly stopped and turned to face her with a serious expression on his face.
“Serena,” he began, taking both of her hands in his. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about.”
Serena’s heart skipped a beat as she heard the grave tone in his voice. She had been expecting him to reveal his plans to her, and she prepared herself for it, considering how she should respond. But instead of sharing what she had hoped to hear, he let out a heavy sigh and shook his head.
“Never mind, this doesn’t seem like the right moment to discuss that.” he said before kissing both her hands, “I’ll say it on another day.”
“Okay…” she smiled, clearly disappointed but she could understand why he was hesitant to tell her. “Should we visit some store now? I wanted to buy you a gift already.”
“Huh? But there was still a month before my birthday.” Alpha Perez tilted his head, making Serena giggle.
“I know, I just wanted to give it in advance.” she replied before intertwining their hands and pulling her towards the stores. that was lining up across the street.
Alpha Perez couldn’t shake off the feeling of uneasiness that washed over him. He knew he needed to have a serious talk with Serena soon, but he didn’t want to ruin their date.
Serena, on the other hand, was determined to make their time together memorable. She pulled him towards a store that caught her eye and dragged him inside, excited to find the perfect gift for him. Alpha Perez couldn’t help but smile at her enthusiasm as she browsed through different items.
After some time, Serena finally found what she was looking for a bracelet made of leather. Though she wanted to give him something fancy, he preferred something simple and practical. So, she chose an ordinary bracelet, knowing that it would suit him.

“Should I buy this one? It was a couple bracelet,” she said, turning her head towards him as he stood behind her.
“You can engrave your names on it if you’d like, Luna Serena,” the seller informed her politely and her eyes brightened, looking at Alpha Perez.
“What do you think?”
“I like that idea. We’ll engrave our names on each other’s bracelets. Mine will have your name, and yours will have mine.” He nodded in agreement and Serena wasted no time in buying the bracelet. The seller kindly offered to engrave their names on it, and after it was done, they exchanged bracelets and proudly wore them on each other’s wrists, both smiling brightly as they did so.
“Thank you, I’ll treasure it.” Alpha Perez said as he leaned down to kiss her on the forehead. Serena nodded and intertwined their hands where they placed the bracelet. She then thanked the seller before the two of them left the store, savoring every moment of their last date together.
