Chapter 70
THE WORDS that Alpha Perez said that day remained engraved in Serena’s mind. She didn’t want to dwell on them because she understood that having a child was not his top concern at the moment. In fact, that only fueled her determination to keep her pregnancy a secret from him. She refused to let her children feel like they were a hindrance, and she would not let Alpha Perez’s plans be disrupted by this news.
“What’s on your mind?” He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. Serena then briefly turned to look at him before returning her focus to the moon while they stood together on the balcony. It had been three days since she found out she was expecting, and in just four more days she would return home to carry out her plan of running away.
“Hmm, nothing… Should we sleep now?” she placed her hand on the side of his head and felt his hair was still damp from the shower. Because of that, she turned around and took the towel hanging on his shoulder to dry his hair, “You’ll catch a cold, let’s go inside.”
“Okay.” His nod was accompanied by a charming smile that made her heart flutter. As soon as they entered inside, she began drying his while she remained standing in front of him. Suddenly, she felt the warmth of his hand on her waist, pulling her closer until his fingers playfully trailed beneath the fabric of her nightgown and fondled her breast.

“Yes.”
“Are you going to behave and wait for my command?”
Perez nodded eagerly.
“Good boy,” Serena rewarded him with a kiss on the forehead before trailing kisses down his neck and chest. He moaned at the sensation of her lips on his skin but kept his hands above his head as she had instructed.
