“WHAT THE HELL,–“Serena stepped forward, but she was taken aback when the warrior suddenly lunged towards her. knocking her to the ground and holding her down with his body weight on top of her back
“What do you think you’re doing? Let go of me! That woman was crazy, she stabbed herself” She struggled against the warrior, her force almost causing him to lose his balance and topple off of her. However, he was powerful enough to keep her pinned down, preventing her from escaping.
“Stop lying! You tried to stab my belly to get rid of the baby! I hadn’t shielded it with my arm, you would have surely succeeded- Marga’s sobs were interrupted by the sound of the door slamming open. She turned her attention towards it. only to see Calix standing there, panting with adrenaline from his recent escape from the warrior outside his room. His attention then turned to the fork lodged in Marga’s arm and then to Serena pinned on the floor by the other warrior.
“Calix.” Marga sobbed again, causing him to grit his teeth in anger. “Serena tried to harm our baby, but I managed to protect my belly.”
“Serena, are you out of your mind? How heartless can you be to hurt an innocent unborn child?” His voice boomed throughout the room before Calix ordered the other warrior to summon the pack’s physician and leaders. Then, he knelt down and roughly tugged at Serena’s hair, causing her to flinch in pain. “I didn’t know you were capable of being this evil.”
Serena frowned before glaring up at Calix, “You really think I tried to harm her? That scheming white lotus stabbed herself just so she could frame me! Why can’t you see that she was trying to take everything away from me!”
She was aware that no one would believe her story, and she knew that her words were falling on deaf ears. It was a loving battle from the start, but she couldn’t help but hope that Calix, who knew her better than anyone else, would at least trist her. However, as soon as his eyes turned to her with hatred, she realized there was no point in trying to defend herself
anymore.
“Get off her, I need to teach her a lesson,” he said, his voice dripping with contempt which made the warrior release Serena’s, wrist and get off her back. As soon as she was freed, Calix roughly pulled her up by her hair, causing Serena to clench her teeth in pain as her scalp was squeezed tightly.
“I don’t care about any excuses,” Calix bared his teeth and gave her a menacing look before striking her across the face. The force was so strong that Serena staggered, feeling a sharp pain in her head. She clenched her jaw, determined not to collapse, but Calix grabbed her and struck her on the other side. This time, it felt more like a punch, and she was thrown onto the floor with a loud thump.
Serena’s check burned from the force of the slap, the pain radiating through her entire head. Blood started seeping from her mouth and nose which Marga watched with a sinister smile from the sidelines before pulling out the fork from her forearm. She winced at the sharp pain, but it was worth it, especially watching her sister get beaten up.
“Oh my god! Marga!” Luna Emilia gasped as soon as she saw her first daughter’s bleeding arm, rushing over to her with the physician. Alpha Robert, on the other hand, massaged his temple and watched as Serena struggled to stand up. Her face was swollen and bleeding, causing him to furrow his brow.
“Take her,” he commanded to the warriors who were with them. They had already been informed of the situation by the guard as they made their way here, and he was still struggling to believe that Serena would stoop so low. If he had known she was plotting this all along, he never would have let her visit Marga and Calix.
“Just like that? You’re not even going to bother hearing my side? Serena asked, straining to get to her feet. She knew it was a futile question, but a small part of her still clung to the hope that they would act like a leader, not a biased parent.
“What is there to heart It was obvious you would try something like this!” Luna Emilia yelled, “You should be punished the same way!”
“Enough, take her away and cast her out of the packhouse. From this day forward, you are no longer considered part of our pack.” The icy tone of Alpha Robert’s voice caused everyone to feel a chill run down their spine. Serena couldn’t help but

“You’re so cruel until the very end,” Serena snorted in disbelief and jerked her arms out of the warriors grip “There’s no need to drag me, I will leave this shithole on my own.”
With a fierce look in her eyes, she glared at every person in the room. Her fists clenched when she saw Marga’s mocking smile, just like the one she had before she left for war. At that moment, Serena made a vow to herself; that she would get revenge on everyone who had contributed to making her life miserable. This day and all the events leading up to it would forever remain ingrained in her memory.
“One day, you will come begging for my forgiveness.” That was the last statement Serena had uttered before leaving the room. She could still hear Luna Emilia’s voice, complaining about how the Alpha let Serena go unpunished. But Serena paid no attention as she made her way to the main house.
As she walked past, everyone whispered and exchanged curious glances, wondering what could have caused her disheveled appearance. But none of them bothered to ask if she was okay or offered any help. She kept moving forward until she reached her room and closed the door behind her.
Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down. She wanted to cry, but her tears just wouldn’t come. Her chest felt tight and heavy with pain, both physically and emotionally; she was completely drained.
“Well, I was meant to leave this pack anyway,” she muttered before cleaning herself and changing her clothes. She then began packing her things, and while doing so, memories of all the time she had spent here–hours, days, weeks, months. and years, flooded her mind. It was ironic that not a single happy memory came to her; instead, it was full of painful ones.
“Serena, are you inside?” Worry filled Annie’s voice as she knocked on the door amidst the chaos that consumed the packhouse. Marga had returned injured, causing panic and tension among everyone. To make matters worse, it was revealed that Serena had attempted to harm the baby growing inside her own sister’s belly, leading everyone to view her as a criminal,
All pack members were conflicted; they all recognized that Marga’s actions were wrong for engaging in an affair with her own sister’s mate, but they also couldn’t believe how Serena could consider taking the life of an innocent, unborn child. None of them had ever imagined she was capable of such a heinous act.
“Yes, nanny, Come in.” Serena finished packing her belongings and Annie rushed over to hug her as soon as she realized that she was leaving.
“I know you’re innocent,” She gently rubbed Serena’s back, emanating warmth and comfort. It was a small gesture, but it meant so much to know that at least one person believed in her innocence. “I will go with you,”
“Thank you, nanny, but I can’t take you away from your family. If you choose to come with me, that means you will be separated from your child and mate. I don’t want that.” Serena pulled out from the hug and suddenly, tears began forming in her eyes. It wasn’t because she didn’t want to leave the pack, but because she had to say goodbye to her nanny again–her only ally in this place.
“But where are you planning to go? This was all too sudden.” Annie wiped the tears on Serena’s cheek before wiping her own feeling sad and angry at the same time. It was clear that Serena had been struck, not only were her cheeks red and swollen, but there was also a small cut on the side of her pale lips.
“I have a specific place in mind, but I can’t reveal it just yet Allan say is that it’s far away, somewhere I can live comfortably and hopefully find some peace in my life.” She smiled, but it vanished as soon as Calix walked into the room. “What are you still doing here? Leave before I throw you out!” he growled, making Serena scoff

When she reached him, she looked up and gazed right into his eyes. She couldn’t believe she loved this man; she couldn’t even comprehend the fact that they were destined mates.
Their connection should have been unbreakable, but as she gazed into those eyes, it felt like it had always been fractured supposed to withstand anything, but unfortunately, this bond was not meant to function in from the start. Their love was

After saying her piece, she marched past him with her suitcase in tow, determined not to look back. The pack members watched her with conflicting emotions as she made her way out Unbeknownst to her, Alpha Robert stood at the window, his jaw clenched, and his fists tightly balled, watching her leave.
Once Serena finally left the packhouse, she hailed a cab and headed to the PUB she had visited before. She approached the bartender and requested to use the telephone, but just as she was about to dial the number of the person she was about to call a large hand she recognized instantly covered her own, causing her to turn her head and come face–to–face with Alpha
