Instead of resolving the issue, Kelly’s words stoked the flames. Helen instantly became enraged and roared, “You shameless b*tch! You are indeed pregnant! How dare you argue with me?”
Nevertheless, Angela gave Kelly a meaningful glance and sensed something was amiss. “I’m not pregnant. I became nauseous due to the side effects of a medication I was taking. I’ve been single my entire life and have yet to lose my virginity. How could I possibly get pregnant?”
Then, Kelly smirked and suggested, “Well, how about this? You do the splits and bend over to prove to Mrs. Lawson that you are not pregnant. That way, the misunderstanding can be cleared up. What do you say?”
After hearing this, Helen nodded and agreed. “Alright. Go ahead and do the splits.”
In the meantime, Angela burst out laughing, and her gaze swept over Helen and landed on Kelly. Undoubtedly, if Kelly isn’t up to something, she is here to cause trouble. “If you want to accuse someone, you can always find a pretext. Let’s say that I accused you of stealing something from me and that you’re hiding it. Does that mean you should strip naked and allow me to inspect you just to prove your innocence?”
“I” Kelly was outraged by that statement.
On the other hand, Helen was getting frustrated and threatened, “You definitely are pregnant, you little st! I’m going to make you lose your child today!” After saying this, she raised her hand, summoned all of her strength, and sent a slap toward Angela. Contrary to her expectations, her wrist was grabbed by a strong arm.
Then, Conrad lightly shook her hand away, but the force of the motion was enough to send her flying, and she landed on the ground with a loud thud. “What do you think you’re doing here?”
Meanwhile, nosy onlookers had been hiding behind the wall, stretching their necks to watch the spectacle, but as soon as they spotted Conrad, they quickly retreated and returned to their seats.
Similarly, Kelly stealthily slipped away and returned to her seat.
Nonetheless, Helen whimpered on the ground, and the chilling aura emanating from that man caused her to tremble in fear, no longer daring to make any rash moves. Instead, she protested, “This woman seduced my husband, and I have evidence. You must be the head of the company! Are you going to get involved in this matter?”
“These photos are edited, and the woman in the photos isn’t me! I am not related to her husband at all!” When she said this, Angela immediately ducked behind Conrad. His tall and broad stature served as a solid shield, instantly giving her a sense of security.
After hearing this, he instructed his assistant to collect and analyze the photos to prove her innocence. The results were soon available, confirming that the images had been edited.
On the other hand, Helen tried to flee when she realized she was in the wrong, but Conrad sent a hint to his subordinate, and she was stopped at the door. Then, he barked, “Apologize to my employee!”
Still, she was not one to back down easily and couldn’t help but sneer, “My husband owns Lionforce Corporation. He’s not someone you can afford to mess with.”
When he heard those words, a sinister glint flashed in his eyes. No matter how big or small the company is, I have never regarded anyone highly. “You can skip the apologies, but I will make Lionforce Corporation
disannear from Drumetan within three days”

Helen trembled in response as Conrad’s powerful aura completely enveloped her, causing her legs to weaken, and she faltered, “I–I’m sorry.”
Nevertheless, Angela waved her hand and stated, “Forget it since you were also deceived. The real culprit is the person who edited the pictures and tried to frame me.” Her sentence was partially directed at that man.
He certainly understood what she was saying. After Helen left, he called Angela into his office.
“Thank you for saving me earlier, Mr. Heathcliff,” she hurriedly thanked him as soon as she entered his office. If he had not arrived in time, there might have been a bloodbath!
However, he remained expressionless as if wearing an icy mask and replied, “You don’t need to thank me. I’m not doing it for your sake.”
“I know.” Angel knew that Conrad did what he did for the child’s sake and that she was of no concern to
him.
After that, his expression turned deadly serious as he tapped his slender fingers on the desk and asked, “I’ll give you a chance to confess. Are you in any relationship with Mr. Lawson?”
His statements made her speechless, and she clarified, “Of course not! Haven’t you already verified it? The photos were edited.”
Then, Conrad gently slid his finger and took a photo from the pile on the table. “This one is real, though.
